Dr. Lawrence Stawkowski is a hospitalist, or physician who specializes in managing the care of patients within the hospital. Dr. Stawkowski practices at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Specialty Hospital. He joined the Division in 2026 and currently serves as an Instructor of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine. His interests include medical education, faculty development, ultrasound, quality improvement and patient safety. 

Dr. Stawkowski earned his medical degree from the Lake Erie College of Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine residency at Lehigh Valley Health Network.
