Dr. Nicole Winchell is a hospitalist, or physician who specializes in managing the care of patients within the hospital. Dr. Winchell practices at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. She joined the Division in 2026 and currently serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine. Her interests include medical education, faculty development and operations.

Dr. Winchell earned her medical degree from the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University and completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of South Florida.
