Dr. Deep Patel is a hospitalist, or physician who specializes in managing the care of patients within the hospital. Dr. Patel practices at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. He joined the Division in 2026 and currently serves as an Instructor of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine.  In addition to English, he speaks Gujarati.

Dr. Patel earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois Chicago College of Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of South Florida.
