Dr. Maeve Ward is a hospitalist, or physician who specializes in managing the care of patients within the hospital. Dr. Ward practices at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. She joined the Division in 2026 and currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine. Her interests include quality improvement and patient safety.

Dr. Ward earned her medical degree from Oregon Health and Science University and completed her Internal Medicine residency at Montefiore Moses/Weiler.
