Dr. Zoe Ruhl is a hospitalist, or physician who specializes in managing the care of patients within the hospital. Dr. Ruhl practices at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. She joined the Division in 2026 and currently serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine. Her interests include medical education, family medicine, consultative medicine, palliative care, point-of-care ultrasound and quality improvement and patient safety. In addition to English, she speaks French.

Dr. Ruhl earned her medical degree from the Perelman School of Medicine and completed her Family Medicine residency at the University of Pennsylvania.
